What is the surgery for?
More build up for my eventual amputations.

Thanks. Just really spices though. They get crazy if you try to smuggle in real food.

Never been under sedation though, how does it feel?
Going under is quick and easy. Slight smell or order sometimes (about 1/4th of people can taste injected stuff). You can try to fight the sleep but well it does not work well. Expect to be out in 10-20 seconds typically. I just let it happen. The room may feel a little cold. Oh if you wish speak with someone before the event and talk about nerves. They will typically give you some pre-sedation which is nice, in case they need to fiddle around in the OR before knocking you out.

As cyberhustler says below it is the waking up that sucks. For one you will be super fucking cold. They keep OR's super chilled. It really helps the doctors as they are covered in clothes and masks. You also will be very groggy and disorientated. You will also notice that your throat hurts (amount varies). That is typically from the breathing tube they give you and it will go away in a few hours to a day. You will also awake in a special area and be monitored for an hour or so before you get to a room. Expect people to bug you often. Lastly you will still be tired and drugged some. Do your best to relax and not sit up or such. Oh and depending on the time and such you may feel a very strong desire to urinate. However do not be surprised if you have a cathetor (know I spelled that wrong) in and that is what is causing that feeling. Whatever you do, do not yank on it.
