You will not find a bigger Metallica fan than me, so I wanted to correct you on your chronology ...
I saw Metallica in 1985 at the
Maters of Rock Festival in Rio DeJaneiro before they were even signed to Elektra. They were not one of the headliners of the festival - but everybody was talking about
this AMAZING garage band!!
Master of Puppets did not release until March 1986.
