New Orleans? please, it is very complicated and not like that at all. NO is so much more diverse than people think. It really, really is. It is LESS racist than Southern California where I am from.

However poor people get treated like shit everywhere. This country gives people the opportunity to achieve plenty, and there are lots and lots of people here in Nola that have done exactly that. All colors.

However the government is full of rats here, they just indicted yet another former city council person today in fact...
