What exactly are you "lol'ing" about? He had the balls and took a stand, and by all means should have been 1-1 and made money. Let's assume for a second he bet $100 on each fight, so with the odds he listed that is $100 to win $230 on Serra, and $100 to win $200 on Evans. I thought for sure Serra won the 1st and 3rd rounds, and I bet most reasonable people would agree with me. Either way it was hardly a dominant win befitting a 2-1 favorite for Hughes, so he was definitely on the right side here. if you laid 2-1 on Hughes in this fight you are not a very savvy bettor.
As far as Evans and Machida, yes Machida did dominate him, but nobody was calling that. Most reasonable people were 50/50 on that fight, and in a pic em fight you always take the underdog and the plus money.
Go ahead and put your money on all -200 favorites in the UFC and see how much money you have at the end of the year...
