if you fall wrong (and on cement), you can fuck your shit up regardless of age or mass. One of my roommates was leaving a judo tournament in NYC a few years ago (took third, cuz he's a bad motherfucker) and was hanging out the side of a car with his trophy when the car got hit on the other side. Now, if you know anything about judo you know you have to be able to take a fall (this guy used to practice on cement as a matter of fact). He got his feet caught so he couldn't take the fall properly and ended up cracking his hip and had to use a wheelchair for a couple of weeks.
