Because you have to log into your forum to check for new messages and so on. With wave everything is integrated so it will be available in one interface.
You'll control your blogs, forums, mails, MSN with one interface and you'll get notified directly when someone writes a new comment. In fact you'll see it typing instead of waiting him to push the Submit Reply button !
