I probably explained that wrong...it is common for scammers to send instant transfers from their bank account through Paypal for their end of a Paypal-Epass trade, because one of two things will happen...
1) If they have never sent an instant transfer that large before, Paypal has a bad habit of letting it go through for at least an hour or more before they flag it and reverse the transaction. So the Epass guy thinks the money is there in his Paypal because it shows in his account and sends the Epass, only to find out an hour or so later that the transaction was reversed by Paypal and he is fucked.
2) If the Paypal person has sent that large of a transfer before it could take the Epass guy up to 5 days to fund out the funds were never in the Paypal person's back account, since Paypal can't verify money in a bank account in real time, at which time Paypal charges it back to them. So not only does Epass guy lose his $1700 he sent via Epass, he is also -1700 in Paypal if he withdrew that money.
That is why I would never do one of these, Paypal is so easy to manipulate for a scammer you could get seriously fucked...
