You should look at building your own TGP and fill it with galleries you've already built as well as free hosted galleries. This way you can choose the best from a wide variety of sponsors in the niche you wish to promote.
I've operated both real and fake TGP's and there's no doubt that you need good quality galleries whether they're sponsor generated or webmaster submitted.
