Russia an America are actually pretty buddy buddy behind the scenes. Most of the hype made up on the news is fabricated so we can both keep building up our military technology to fight off the smaller radical countries that really want to use their nuclear weapons. It's the way the world is now. The future is all about antimissile tech. It's much easier to build a small rocket that can obliterate a larger missile or a laser that turns it to dust.
