I had a friend who split with his long term g/f and started inviting "the boys" over every saturday... we had a lot of fun, seeing each other regularly each week, which was great because we didn't always get to see too much of each other. Then a few months months later I walk in the door and her cat is there, hmmm, then I realise so is she. That was the last saturday we all got together. The informal invites suddenly stopped.
They ended up married. I don't think she's using him but she's definitely the one wearing the pants.
