Thanks, CD. I recall a few marginally interesting songs hitting the airwaves stateside, but as far as actual musical influence, I'd say minimal. I've heard more folks cite Jarvis Cocker and Pulp as influential from 90s Brit pop than either of the Gallagher. From a popular culture standpoint, I'd have to say Blur wins for airwave saturation, though.
Added bonus of not being puffed up cock-wavers, too.
