I dont know what you guys are talking about, maybe you're webmasters and NOT photographers and videographers!
I guess Canon should listen to you guys who probably have Nikons, too not put video in a professional DSLR. Nikon user are haters.
The 5DmkII camera is smarter than all of you and me all put together!
Now with the new firmware we can fully control aperture and shutter speed manually which caused the glitchy motion, while panning.
Take a look at this video before you rule out the Canon 5D MkII as a video cam.

The great thing about this cam is that you can get a very strong cinamatic feel and look to your videos with prime and zoom lenses.
It records full HD 1920x1080p very close the Sony PMW EX1 which I have and own and yes i challenge you "Keepin it real" !!
