I'm still not following your idea, I want the pages saved as html files so I can get rid of the wordpress script and the site will look the same to visitors as it was when wordpress was running (except for dynamic features like comments)
I have the database, that is the easy part, converting it to html pages from the database seems more complicated than using wordpress itself with some kind of utility to create html files (or even using a scraper completely independent to wordpress would work better than using the database itself I think)
