I liked the RC of windows 7 overall, but 3d rendering was SLOWWWWW. I had to remove it from the renderfarm machine I was testing it on, and put Vista back on, which believe it or not, renders faster than my xp machines.
people knock Vista, but its the fastest OS out there, if you have the right hardware.
I think 7 will be great after a couple of service packs.
