Well, since I travel so much I have a T-Mobile account and a Verizon account. T-Mobile is my primary and I only got Verizon for when I am out of a T-Mobile area.
These days that does not happen much. They usually switch you to another local carrier. There are very few instances when the Verizon has a signal that T-Mobile doesn't.
When I go to EU, T-Mobile works. Verizon does not. goodgirl had to buy a pre-paid phone in Spain because all she had was Verizon.
As far as wireless cards are concerned, Verizon for the US, Vodafone for the EU.
