In law school, as well as any debate course, this is called a conclusory statement. It's a conclusion. To make your argument more persuasive, start with the following
Issue--what is the issue? What facts brought up the idiot analysis?
Rule--how do you do define idiot?
Analysis--apply the facts to the rule.
Conclusion--you already supplied this.
