What I think is stupid, is saying you have to kill all torrents because people use them for piracy, or that you should have to prove you have a right to use something before you can create a torrent or tracker.

Yes piracy is bad, piracy hurts sales.....but just like you can't outlaw the VCR or the CD burner because people can use them for piracy, you can't outlaw torrents either.

So that being the case, you ought to look for ways to use the situation to your advantage in ways that your competition isn't.


It's no wonder you can't get along with gideon, you keep accusing him of being for piracy when he isn't. Whenever he says something about copyright law, you read that as him being ok with people stealing your shit. He's not ok with that, as far as I know.

If he is "pro piracy" then I'll stand corrected.
