Spam is gross!
Nothing wrong with a re design. People get sick of seeing the same thing. If they wanted the same thing you would have the same pictures on your site for years. Treat your site like you would the pictures and it might help business a little bit. It works for real estate, restaurants and basically any kind of business. Everyone loves a fresh look. You call it spam, i call it trying to help webmasters better their business income.
