Soon after more people started charging for their content and cutting back on what they gave for free. Now it seems like we are heading back down that road only this time is consumer driven. Now people demand it to be free so companies are stepping in and giving them what they want. We are racing to see who can give away the most. Eventually I think we will hit the wall again.

A great post. Has the Internet really created the wealth it should of or moved wealth from one place to another?
An industry can't be based on giving product away. Be that product, porn, information, music, or what ever. Because it gets to the stage (or has it got there?) when people expect everything for free from that industry. What we pay for on a mobile phone we expect and demand for free on he Internet.
