Tiny lesson: Growing large based on bookmarkers with a generic mainstream (non-niche) TGP is nearly impossible nowadays, simply because you literally have thousands of competing sites, many of which have been around for years and/or offer way more than you do.
There are several things you could do about that, like trade traffic (more potential traffic), focus on a non-saturated niche (more potential for bookmarkers), offer something extra (could be huge archives, free movies, funny pictures archive, whatever - give more potential for bookmarkers) or just use your creativity.
However, what you are doing now has nothing extra compared to the competition, while much of the competition does have extra things compared to you. So, getting a large number of bookmarkers will be nearly impossible.
Just compare it to driving a taxi in New York - it'll never make you rich, since there is too much competition. You need something extra/original to stand a chance.
