the torrent provider is exactly as liable as you would be for the virtual porn example.

if you believe that you should go to jail for creating kiddie porn if your content is use in the making of such virtual porn
then yes
if you argue that the legitimate use of your porn exempts you from the criminal liablity even though i can now prove you know it "can" be used for the creation of kiddie porn then no.
for me in both case the answer is no
the fact that the sales transaction you are making "can" both be used for a legitimate purpose and the illegal purpose means and you have no way of know which is going to happen means you can never truely know that an infringing act is happening
like wise fair use rights means that the torrent site owner can never really know either.
