Antiques Roadshow finds $1M treasure

RALEIGH, N.C.: You find something in the attic or basement and wonder what it could be worth? Well, an eastern North Carolina woman now knows she owns a Chinese treasure.

The popular PBS series "Antiques Roadshow" is taping segments in Raleigh. One woman's appraisal has a set new record for the program.

Show publicist Erika Denn says of four pieces of Chinese jade have been appraised at about $1 million. That's double the previous record, which was for an abstract expressionist painting.

"Antiques Roadshow" isn't naming the woman who got the seven-figure good news over the weekend.
