what does 10 - 20 - 30 years ago have to do with today and todays reality?... much less the right and wrong of what happened then and whether or not it should have happened at all.
just like with the spending bill... you use past bad behaviors to rationalize current bad behaviors.

that's not disputable and neither are the simple facts that we've already spent trillions we don't have in the last few months and we are still in a recession which Obama couldn't stop talking about how severe and how horrible and how devastating it is and will be.... now the next trick is going to make energy costs SKYROCKET, which switching focus to a multi trillion dollar take over of health care - which again, not only expands government again as well as their control over YOUR life... it is trillions which we again, don't have to spend.
