I love all the people who say they do not miss it, at all. I find that very hard to believe.
Constantly telling yourself that you don't miss them won't make it true. Brutal honesty is the key to long term success.
I never hear reformed alcoholics say "I don't miss beer one bit"
I was trying to quit during the presidential campaign, and I remember John McCain giving a speech about health care, and the topic of smoking came up, and he said he quit in the 1980s, and still wishes he could have a cigarette sometimes.
I took comfort in that, because it means that wishing you could have one now and again is completely normal, and doesn't mean you're going to lose control and smoke one.
Anyhoo, congrats to the quitters.
