There's much easier ways to get a high PR without any real work and without spending money. They also don't force kids to see porn. From what I've seen a handfull of webmasters know about them but I personally haven't tried the methods as it's kind of a grey area, even though it really doesn't negatively affect anyone else.
Idea: would anyone run a program or script to automatically scan DMOZ and google for spammers and report them if I wrote one?
