would be a CMS may not be the best way to utilize your skills. Mainly because the market segment is pretty competitive and has a couple players that really offer everything anyone could need.
I don't know what direction to point you in, but if you're truly a skilled programmer, than almost anything is possible. Another CMS just doesn't seem too lucrative at this point, unless you were a LOT better than the competition.
