Aw come on now. I've had to cook in the backyard on a grill for days on end, and eaten stale bread with ketchup on it for a meal and "bath" with a washcloth in a store bathroom.
But the deal is that while yes you need to use power to cook food, you also need to use power to go to a food place and if we're really adding up tangental things like that, then we need to add the health care cost or lack thereof and all kinds of silly things.
I just know that, for me, I can and do make my food cheaper and better than they ever could. And if I only had $1 to spend, that means I'm already on food stamps and public assistance, and eating anywhere but home is either free, or stupid of me.
