I totally agree with that.
If I know someone is actually in the industry and working hard within it, then it doesn't bother me at all if they bust some balls from time to time. I respect their work and can get a laugh out of their board drama. It's all in good fun. But it's not enjoyable if you think you are dealing with surfers, people who have no idea of how this industry even works or clowns who can't say anything good to anyone and only attack people.
