The issue is not limited to US banks, I have had trouble with UK banks also.

I think the problems come when a bank (correspondent) is required between your bank and epassporte's bank. Epassporte have very specific instructions about which information goes in which field and even when you detail this to the letter with your bank, there is no gurantee that some operator at the correspondent bank who has his own procedures that probably work 99% of the time with world bank wires (however not epassporte) will pay any attention to the "special instructions" or however the info is communicated.

The solution as I think you are becoming aware is to deal directly with a bank who can send directly to epassporte's Curacao bank. In your case sounds like you should go directly to Standard Chartered? Cut out the middle man.

There is a lot of money circulating around in epassporte and it gets wired in there somehow. Don't give up, it will be worth it in the long run.
