I have seen this problem over 1 month ago and others have also mentioned it ocassionally, though they didn't make an issue of it, as the thread starter here.

When I click on someone's username, it doesn't take me anywhere.
I can click on your username, then "public profile" and the link just doesn't work.

same when I click at the top on "Search" and then "Advanced search"... the link just won't work.

Problem with both IE7 and IE8. Obviously still it can be "our" browser problems, but just letting you know what exactly does he mean.
