My recommendation coming from a fine arts background, pick her up a good set of prismacolor pencils and pens (not the scholar set, those are very firm points to work with for the style she has), and encourage her to practice, practice, practice. With the proper tools, and a lil sweat and dedication, your artwork can come alive.
I have gotten her the pencils, acrylic paint and oil paints. She hasn't done too much with the oil paints yet. She draws constantly and has a bunch of flash art my tattoo artist friend gave her and a magna drawing book that she consults from.

Would you suggest she starts with the most basic classes or take one of the more advanced classes. My daughter is little miss contentious and knows the classes are expensive so she wants to make sure she picks the right one. I cannot even draw a stick figure so I really don't know what I should steer her towards.
