Yes you can get it back, they keep it six months, go try to log into your account and you should see some info about suspended accounts and disputing it. Send them an email and they
might just reactivate it.
A few things I've learned (or think I've learned) about twitter so far that could help keep you safe from being deleted.
- Obviously don't post nudity on twit pic.
- Don't link to nudity anywhere unless there's a warning page in between.
That means you should link to your sites warning page, not the tour, and use sites with adult content warnings to host any vids. We use dailymotion for instance, and actually started a yahoo group to link to in the place of galleries. They both have logins and age appropriate warnings that put the onus on the user.
Twitter can be a great tool if you tour as a dancer, do appearances, have cam shows etc. It will help spread your name and keep your fans in the loop. Use it to appeal to fans who want to know your personality etc., and gain face recognition by posting hot non nudes and pretty head shots instead of AC. Ivy uses it all the time to post nonsense from her laptop/blackberry, and I use tweetlater to schedule her spam posts in advance.
Of course, I'm just cautious. Just because cats get away with doing a, b and c today doesn't mean they will tomorrow. We all had huge myspace pages full of adult content a few years ago thinking everything was cool, then one day it wasn't and we lost our accounts.
