Ah yes, it's called The Birds Nest and it is availble to anyone who owns one of these bad boys. They serve two hot meals a day and all the free hookups for as long as you own the rig....and if your's is being serviced, you can use one of theirs Kind of a sweet deal if you ask me!

I am assuming your father is military based on what you are saying...tell him he owes it to himself to go down Hwy 49 South from Fort Valley to Andersonville to see the Civil War Prison....there is a ton of history there and any veteran will surely get a lump in their throat. If he goes another 12 miles South on 49 he will hit Americus Georgia, childhood home of the founder of NatNet....me

They're already in Macon as of a few hours ago, so Forest Park is too far north now for a supper.

haha.. I've even been to Andersonville. Several times. My dad is a retired Army Lt Colonel. Also a big time Civil War buff. I spent alot of my vacations as a kid checking out alot of the Civil War battlefields and listening to my dad lay out the entire story.

They've been telling me about the Bird's Nest since the bus got ordered in November. Everyone from dealer in CA to the people he's talked to at the plant in Ft Valley have been 'bend over backwards' nice.

This is his second Bird. First one was the trade in for this one. It was a mid-80s 36 footer. Still was alot better than the typical diesel pushers. Like I'd said he'd been looking at used Prevosts because the larger Wanderlodge's just seemed too pricey for my folks. Yeah so baby girl is picking up some of the tab, but their pride and their sensibility wouldn't allow them to go mega-whole hog.
