People in rural areas are always more friendly I find, and while I haven't visited PEI or nova scotia yet, I am told that the people there are EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and hospitable...I can't wait to head out there myself and experience that area of Canada myself  |
Do you speak french? If so, it might be one of the reasons why. Plus, you live there so you are biased.
I was born in Montreal (NDJ to be exact) and have spent a lot of time in Montreal as well as up the 15 like St Jerome and Sauveur. I have been all along the St Lawrence and can honestly say that generally speaking francos treat english speaking people like dog shit on the bottom of a shoe.
