I truly hope that the people who have already posted in this thread have answered your question considering they are some of the brightest minds in this business but I will expand on it just a little bit. In a nutshell downtime is a concern for every hosting company in the business. I do not know of a single host that has 100% uptime so the goal is to do everything within your power to minimize it and eliminate what you can. NationalNet has had multiple years that we have gone with no real downtime....we have also had years where we had a few hours of downtime. Each time we have learned and we have grown from it. Each time we have spent insane amounts of money to make sure that the same mistake does not hit us again.
In fact, if you haven't seen the thread yet, you should check out the thread on our new data center (
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=916502 ). Millions and millions of NationalNet dollars have gone into building a true, state of the art internet data center for our customers. Will these many millions of dollars guarantee no future downtime? Nope, but it will eliminate many of the potential problems facing many of our competitors.
So, in a nutshell, Marc....we will continue to work as hard for our customers as we have for the past 13 years and we will let them speak for us.
