I did the same thing. I had a small freehost (didn't allow tgp or link site submissions) and some asshat thought it would be a good idea to constantly bitch. Then the POS thought it would be a good idea to hack the server. Then EVERYONE bitched.
I shut them all off. Took me about ten seconds to destroy about 100 people's work. 90% of the sites had no traffic to speak of, but still...
Having
some ethics, I didn't steal or redirect their surfers. I posted a plain white page that said "So long and thanks for all the fish". Then I let the domain expire.
THAT was a stupid thing to do.
