I can give you a variation on that that pertains to me in this industry. The Iphone rocked the cell phone world. Many companies spent a lot of time and money trying to create an "Iphone killer" or at least a phone that could compete with the Iphone. Some have had some great success and others have not.

Other companies realized that there is still a huge market of people out there that don't want or need an Iphone and don't want the typical $100+ a month bill that goes with it. There are a lot of people that just want a cell phone they can talk on and send the occasional text message on. So they give away cheap phone and offer plans for those people. I decided to take that route with my business. I had no desire to try to create a tube site. I had no desire to try to fight to get my hands on a bunch of freeloaders and work my ass off to convert them. So I went out there and found other things and am working in those areas. The tube sites are Iphone. I'm the guy that gives away a basic phone and offers cheap basic service and there are plenty of customers in that world.
