The key is to put it in your freezer where the fan blows the cold air in. If the bottle is next the fan, it speeds up the chill process by leagues. I set my timer for 10 minutes yesterday with two beers in there and they were certifiably cold. I have a regular fridge freezer, nothing fancy. If I were to put them in my deep freezer, they would take a few hours.
Another good way is under cold running water, or in a bucket with water and ice.
