Affiliates would be free and clear as they used the content in good faith. No judgment would ever be made against them.
They are liars, scamers and thieves. Anyone posting there is only giving them juice. Stop already and let the singing ship go under water.
Even if all what they are saying is true, they made bad business decisions and in turn are hurting others now.
Fixed in the future or not, anyone with half a brain will stay away from them. People who do bad things like this once will do it again and again.
