I'm not saying that to insult your and anyone's ego, but if you want a premium setup, you're going to have to pay premium prices. Websites are investments, just like houses, stocks, or anything else that can appreciate in value. The kind of investment you make reflects the kind of return you expect.

Great post. Pretty soon eveyone will have a tube site. But getting a custom tube script that can handle loads of traffic is the key. You can have one site with this script or 1000 and the same cost. If you want to build a network of sites with a one time payment option. This is the way to go.
