IMHO, this behavior is one of the reasons that kills all good GPL scripts, repositories and ideas. Everybody and his mother thinks that anything free should be abused. Plus, I can't see wtf do you win by doing that, pretty childish

Trying to see where your going with this? First, default Wordpress theme credits are still in the PHP files. They don't post the credits apart of in the CSS, which for me is just a waste of space, so I removed them.
You expect every designer to learn all the Wordpress PHP functions and create theme from scratch?
