By fighting Strickforce he is guaranteed 3 or 4 more winning paychecks and sponsor checks an a chance for M-1 to take off. He will still be worth a lot if not more to UFC in 2 years, but on the flip side Brock will be that much better.
Remember what happened to Cro Cop when everybody thought he was going to run through the HW division? And all of the pride fighters for that fact. I was a die hard Pride fan, but their top guys have not done too well.
Every fighter has a shelf life and Brock just started started. He is gonna get even better, i wouldn't want to fight that guy, even in a video game.

Fully agree. Brock has the best chance of beating Fedor of anyone in recent memory. He's an incredible athlete, has wicked wrestling skills and based on what you've said about who he's been training with, he'll only get better.
That's not to say that he will beat Fedor, because let's face it that man is also a machine. It is a possibility though.
