Bros? Is it in my interest to be buddy buddy with them? Quite the contrary, from a slimy business point of view it would be in my interest to leave the thread as is, expecting affiliates to skim through the thread not get the joke, and decide against DG, thereby increasing our chances for signing up those affiliates.

Instead, I'd like to believe there's mutual respect, both personal and professional, therefore we don't have to resort to such methods. Respect as opposed to "being Bros". Additionally, if i did not care about Smokey, i would not have spent the time writing a reply to try and explain a business owner's perspective. And the way i see it the point got across, if i thought he lacked the comprehension skills i would not have spent the time. Yes, the forum is called GFY but that does not mean it's a playground where anything goes if it has the potential to hurt someone's business.

Which one would you rather have more of? A few business owners trying to share their point of view with an affiliate or affiliates telling a female representative of a program that she 'could get the penis'? I'm not saying not to have fun, but let's get real and let's act a bit more mature. (it is not my intention to single anyone out, merely an example)

Using the "Bro" blanket statement/excuse to try and explain something you don't understand or don't agree with will merely lead to increased hostility between affiliates and program owners.
