My thoughts exactly.
Even IE8 is slow and painful to use, compared to using FF or Opera. For a quick example of what I'm talking about, hit Ctrl-T in FF or Opera to bring up a new tab. BAM it's there in no time. Try it in IE, then wait about 5 seconds and you
might have a usable tab.
