We all know that banner advertising for dating or cam sites provide advertising income for the tube sites, since those offerings can't be stolen for a tube.

Some tube sites are feeder traffic to paysites, but those are the "Fake tubes", and are setup by the program owner.

The new source of funding can come from mainstream.

mainstream "rewards based incentive programs" are like the ones where you see you can get a free xbox or ps3 if you complete the process.

the scenario can be this:

tube site says in order to use the site for free (meaning the tube site decides to give a preview of videos ie. limited number) and gain access to the bigger collection of videos, they must purchase do one of the following.

the options for the surfer could be:

- complete a survey (lead generation companies pay money for survey forms, its big bucks depending on what the survey product is for). the tube site then gets paid for the surfer filling out a simple survey

- purchase a product (ie netflix, etc). the tube site gets revenue from the company that is running the promotion, where the 3rd party is the actual affiliate to the various offers, and they pay out to the tube site a percentage or fixed dollars from what they collect.
