Personally I think people should spend more time with their dead. As creepy as that may sound to some, it really helps with closure. It seems in current American culture we just want to get it away from us, put it in a ziplock bag and bury it away. There's not alot of "honor" and "cherish" in that.

Was that one of the Taboo series installments? I watched the one where it was how different cultures honored their dead. They showed something similar to the ritual shown above, another ritual done by Aborigine's and then how death is handled in the USA. It was pretty interesting.
