Our media sucks and is full of propaganda especially MSNBC (the worst) and Fox (a very, very close second) and we're worst off for it. I agree. There is not a single unbiased news media outlet that I am aware of. C-span is the least biased...in my opinion...and I rely upon it heavily but one does need to use multiple news media outlets to attempt to make some sense out of it all.
