I hope he does ok, but it may come back. I had one I tried to save like that but he ended up swimming upside down and rubbing across the gravel and being a bloody mess. Had to put him down with ice. It was sad. I had him I think 4 years. Still have his buddy left he is close to 6. They are small koi though so still kind of goldfish I guess.
