It's all on how you are raised and brought up, just like kids. Kids in the ghetto drug infested areas are more likely to become involved more so then kids out in the sticks will. Not saying it doesn't happen out in the sticks but its far less likely.
I could raise a fighting chihuahua or poodle if I really wanted to. Just pitbulls are stocky, and pretty strong dogs.
I've had a pit mix, and it was the most loving dog ever. He used to nip, just like any puppy but was trained correctly and wouldn't hurt a fly now. He's almost 8 years old too, and hasn't had ONE issue. Beat it
