So I mean obviously you're a big supporter of the guy, I'm happy for you, I see you don't want him to fail. But this is a battle he won't win and if they keep fighting for this, the Republicans have the edge on this issue when you consider the majority of Americans voice the same opinions that the Republicans do which is : Yes, government-run institutions are a nightmare and most of the time don't work, government get the hell out of our way.

I see where you are coming from with "the government can't run shit" point of view. You believe this because it has been fed to you over a long time through high level marketing. There is a whole faction of people who believe government can't do anything right. If you put shitty people like BUSH in office, then you get a shitty government. Example...Bush appointed Micheal Brown(11 years overseeing horse trial judges and stewards for the Arabian Horse Association) head of FEMA. BUSH did this all over the government making it shitty. When you have the right people in government that believe government is for the people then you get better results.
Your hate for any thing government is insulting to many people who put their lives on the line everyday. Next time you get assaulted make sure to go to your private police department. Next time your house is on fire refuse the fire department help and call your private fire department....
Next time you are on the highway, get the off and go on your private road.
Government works if you make it work.
